Dear Virginia,

A few weeks ago I picked up a pile of stuff at the Naked Sheep and inside was a note from one of our knitters telling me all about the items she had sent in and how to care for them. All of those items were dropped off at the Scott Mission this morning. The Scott Mission in turn, has sent me these photos so you can see where your items are going. Enjoy 🙂

Johnwayne looks through a basket of items donated by StreetKnit in the men’s clothing store. Johnwayne came to The Scott Mission that day for a hot meal and clothes.

Johnwayne chose a knitted red scarf to go with his rainbow-coloured hat.

So thanks to Virginia and everyone else who helped to make these people’s lives a little warmer – literally and figuratively. The comment from the folks at the Scott were that the people they help love receiving items that were handmade by someone. It’s like something your mum might do for you.
