Passing on some thanks

I received this email a few weeks ago but due to a vacation and some family complications, I haven’t had a chance to post it.  So without further ado, from St Felix Centre to all of you knitters out there, a big thanks!

Dear Sadie,
On behalf of everyone here at St. Felix Centre we want to send a big huge THANK YOU to you and all your knitters, for the hats and scarves brought to us by Bambi Rutledge.  The day after the bag arrived the temperature went to -22 and we were able to give hats and scarves to three men who live on the street.  They couldn’t believe it.  Alex, who is a lovely soft spoken man, with a good education, who lives with serious depression, said quietly to me – “these are so lovely and you can tell they’re hand made and in good wool.  I can’t tell you how much this means to me or how I can thank you.”.
I think Alex has said it all. You have all made a real difference in a wonderfully tangible way.  And when all is said and done, there’s not much more in the world that could be more important is there?
Paddy Bowen.

I don’t really have too much to add to that except my own thanks to you all for your support of Streetknit.
